Soundtracks for the Soul...

DJ began playing the piano at the age of 6 and has enjoyed making music ever since. At the age of 12, he began playing the sax and enjoyed listening to jazz classics from the big band era. At 15, he began experimenting with MIDI instruments and played regularly with a trio, playing both sax and keyboard. Throughout high school, he was involved in band, ensembles, jazz band, and in his junior year, was drum major for the school's 350 piece marching band.

After graduating high school, DJ continued to compose instrumental pieces while earning a Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. After graduating college, he spent time working in the Film and Television industry as a production assistant, machinist, gun wrangler, special effects assistant, and in 1995, worked as a costume technician for the hit PBS series, Barney and Friends.

What a handsome dude!

After leaving the Barney and Friends production, DJ went to work for Texas Instruments, designing high definition televisions based on a radically new digital imaging technology called Digital Light Processing (DLP). Many DLP products are available ranging from business projectors, cinema projectors, to home theater and large screen projection televisions. Visit the homepage of DLP to learn more about the exciting future that awaits this fascinating technology: www.dlp.com.

When DJ is not designing new imaging technologies or making music, you'll often find him spending time with his wife and three children. He enjoys aviation, flying RC helicopters, photography, and woodworking. He also plays keyboard regularly at his local church, Trinity Bible Church, near Dallas, Texas.

DJ also has a passion for sharing the motivation behind his music and would like to explain the impact that God has had in his life. If you ever wonder why we're really here and what our purpose is, or maybe you'd like to know what happens when our time is done here on Earth, then please consider reading more here about how important it is to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal savior.
